How to get set up with a Carditeasy account
Account openings are currently only available for businesses incorporated in the EEA (European Economic Area). The company’s shareholder(s) and director(s) may be non-EEA nationals or residents.
You can start your application by submitting your company’s details. A representative will be in touch with you shortly.
You can start using your account within 48 hours after receipt of your complete application.
No, you can’t apply for a Carditeasy account using your personal email address. This is because the account will belong to the company you work for, rather than to you as an individual. We can’t accept any email addresses from free service providers such as Gmail or Hotmail.
Don’t worry if you’ve already tried to apply using your personal email address. You can simply try again using your work email address.
There is a standard package of documentation that we always request once the Onboarding process is started. However, any type of additional data required will depend on the type of business that your company conducts. You can check our Onboarding guide here.
No worry! Just contact support@carditeasy.com and we will help you make the necessary changes.
Business IBAN account
Making and receiving wire transfers
Yes we can. We can initiate a recall request to the beneficiary’s bank. If the beneficiary’s bank agrees with the request, the transaction will be wired back to your account. If the beneficiary bank does not agree with the request, we suggest contacting the beneficiary and their bank for further details. Charges for recall messages initiated by Carditeasy apply.
Yes. Each account consists of a dedicated business IBAN account under your company’s name. The account will allow you to receive SEPA transfers from other companies (B2B), and send SEPA transfers to companies and/or individuals (B2C).
While you cannot receive payments from private individuals, your account allows you to:
- send payments to private individuals
- send and receive payments from and to other companies
You can close your account at any time. Any funds available on your Carditeasy account will be transferred back to a bank account held by your company at another financial institution.
Cards
How to get set up with a Carditeasy account
Virtual Debit Cards work the same way as regular debit cards except that they are not physical. They are created online through your account’s interface. Just like physical cards, they consist of a 16-digit card number, a 3 digit CVV number and expiry date. They’re issued by Visa and are accepted anywhere debit cards are usually accepted.
You can discover cards’ standard limits here. If you require different limits for your business operations then please contact our support at support@carditeasy.com.
You have the ability to create virtual Visa© Company debit cards through your account. More specifically, the cards are corporate and non-nominal (no name on the card).
